Based on an exploratory sketch looking to define the “look” of Alex Simmons’ iconic character, and add some of the suggested power and majesty of the comics that share space with it in that dynamic environment.

Meant to twist the approach from typical “comic book” objectification to more reflect the individual personality of the mercenary character.

The original design as presented to DC Comics, commissioned to give the character a unique and identifiable look and establish for the first time the innovation of The “T Spheres”.

A sketchbook drawing that was part of a back-up story proposal featuring secondary characters, throwaways, from the Power Man / Iron Fist series… done in an attempt to change the perception of female representation in books of that type.
