Medialia Gallery and New Approach presents:

Third International Medallic Sculpture Competition for Emerging Artists

Eligibility: In 2017–2018, New Approach will be sponsoring its third international medallic sculpture competition. They are currently looking for applicants. Artists born during or after 1980 are eligible to participate. The work submitted for the jury selection process can not have been previously exhibited and should have been created between 2015–2017.

About Medialia ... Rack and Hamper Gallery & New Approach

Established in 1993, Medialia ... Rack and Hamper Gallery specializes in small, affordable works by international artists, including: book art, medallic sculpture, small sculpture, transformable sculpture, wearable sculpture, wall hangings and comic art exhibits. Work of gallery artists is exhibited on a continual basis, along with special one-person and group exhibitions by international artists. 

Founder and artistic director Mashiko Nakashima, has also established the not-for-profit, New Approach Contemporary Medallic Art Research Center to promote emerging artists and curators, as well as to encourage public awareness and exposure to unconventional medallic art.
